Hi Lynnda, wow, yes I so know what you mean re: no patterned paper, I used to think this was impossible too but we have learnt so much on our scrapping journey hey. I love this layout, the use of the hession is stunning too. Love your gorgeous happy mail from Yvonne, how gorgeous is that shadow box.

I actually have a Big Kick (Sizzix) and I have contemplated getting the cuttlebug but am really looking forward to coming back and seeing what the other ladies say as the spellbinder machine may be another option. Love to you, Melxx

Gorgeous layout, lots of fun without a DP, kind of cool!
I have a Sizzix and a Cuttlebug, I LOVE my cuttlebug, I used it for any diecut, the cuttlebug, the PTI, and the Spellbinders, it works perfectly fine with anything, and it is small and handy, easy to store away!

This one FABULOUS LO. I love the artsy feel to it.. kinda free and a little funky!

I have cuttlebug and I love it. Use it for most of my project. Its easy to die cut. Only complaint for its, its rather a small one, 6 inch width, I would have loved a bigger one.. but then again, its up to you.. what will u be using it for most of the time.. big cuts or just medium. btw.. I have not really tried others. But I love my cuttlebug:)

Lynnda, this is seriously pretty!! I love this LO of yours!! Gorgeous photo of yours too!!

By the way, I do not have the answer to your question as I think we started around the same time. Looking at your blog entry.. I started in March too! Whatever it is, good luck babe!!

I love how artsy this is Lynnda! :) All the fabulously messy paint! :)

I have a Cuttlebug and it works with most of the dies in the market like Sizzix...and probably Spellbinders...you have to check to confirm. In terms of pricing and versatility, I think the Cuttlebug is a good buy. But I don't even use mine that much (too lazy to take it out yo use!) so take your time to shop around for what meets your needs.

This LO is FANTASTIC!!! I'm loving all the paint, so cool! As for machines, I have neither, but I always hear about the Cuttlebug. Sounds like everyone uses them for embossing on their cards.

OK had to get in on this one...
I got a Big Kick (only because it was on sale) and I love it...it works great with all the different dies and embossing BUT saw the new cuttlebug and it looks AWESOME!!! Now I want to get that one :)

Another gorgeous LO dear! Luv wot u did to the bg.

I hv bigshot, slice (1st edition), slice elite & pazzles. I used them all, its not neglected. Hehehe..... Bigshot / cuttlebug, functions the same. Either one, u can use the dies from other manufacturer. As for embossing, i luv the provo craft embossing folder, works well with my bigshot.

Take your time and buy what suits you.
Take care!

Love your layout, and you're right, it wasn't as hard to not use patterned paper as I thought it would be! Don't know about the other machine, but I have a Cuttlebug and love it - you can't go wrong there!
