Hello Everyone..... Its 2015 and let's start FRESH!!

After being absent for 2 months, I'm back for my 1st challenge for 2015!!!

It feels so GOOD to be back blogging and crafting!...

I will try and visit you AWESOME ladies soon! Please give me time!

Today I am sharing a card which was inspired by 

LESSology: LESSology Challenge #43 Cardboard Central

I had this almost perfect cardboard from a beautiful packaging of a chocolate box 

so decided to create a shaker card with it. Isn't it great to upcycle this cardboard?

So the upcycled item is the cardboard itself...its so exciting to play along with LESSology after so long woohoo!!!

The upcycled cardboard:

Run the cardboard using Paper Smooches Duo Dies 2 to create the window for the shaker card

Here's is my interpretation of cardboard central!

Toy Story ~ LESSology Challenge #31

Hi Everyone!

It's my turn today to reveal my upcycling project over at LESSology!...

Yup... time really flies... this is LESSology last project for 2013!!!

The challenge for November is to use TOY!!!  This is pretty easy for someone who has a 9yrs old BOY!!! Matin actually helped me to choose which of his toys to use for this project!!!

And on a sad note.... this is also my last project with LESSology... Tough decision but I had to temporarily step down as next year I will be expecting a baby girl most likely end of January.... or early February... Yvonne is so understanding that she told me I am always welcome to make a comeback at any time!!! She's the sweetest! ... {Big Hugs Yvonne!!}

 

Okay....
These are the upcycled items- 1)For the based of my layout I used a cardboard 

2)For the toy I used Matin's mini Frisbee

3)And I also found some colourful feathers from Matin's art&craft work!

LESSology Challenge #30 - Kitchen Raid

Hello Everyone!..

 

Today it's my turn to share my project for LESSology Challenge #30 - Kitchen Raid..

This is another FUN challenge!... There are so many up-cycled items in the kitchen that I can create for this Challenge!!! [Go get ready and RAID your kitchen!!] {LOL}

But you know sometimes, I'm just being lazy...so I decided to go easy !!! Guess what I saw my cutting board!....So what else ... it's perfect to transform the cutting board into a wall hanging...!!!

LESSology Challenge #29: Birthday Party

I hope you all still remember ME.....
Today it's pretty much a special day...And I'm so excited!!!! Yeah baby...
It's LESSology's 2nd birthday!!!! Congratulations Yvonne!!! I'm so proud of you...
We made it to our 2nd year!!!! Woohoo...

Okay ....so here is what I'm sharing for LESSology challenge #29: Birthday Party......

I did this birthday set for my momma B-day... and she loves it!!!!...

I love this transparent plastic box.... it was a box of cotton buds...
thank goodness I kept it....!!! 

And now I can upcycled and make good use of it!...

I transformed the box into a gift box...

which I put in my 3x3" mini accordion album ...

And I made a 4x4"card for her as well...

Tadaaa...Here is the birthday set I made for Momma....

My mom just loved it!!! She said it's too precious!!!

LESSology Challenge # 28 - using bottle caps!

Howdy Peeps....

 

It's been a long time... yeah!!!
I have passed my 1st trimester [Yahoo!]

I am feeling much better now... but I have yet any strength or mojo to be creative...

 

Today, I'm sharing my take on LESSology Challenge #28 - using bottle caps
 I'm using a rare sort of bottle cap...given by Yvonne Yam...
I "steal" one of Matin's frame and transformed into this....

I really love how this turned out....especially it is so quick to create - simple & sweet!

So now it's your turn...

LESSology Challenge #27...

Howdy Peeps.....

Sorry its been a long time...

 

I was really sick for the past 2-3 weeks... even as this post goes live...I'm still sick....

I'm 8 weeks pregnant.... but this time its harder than I was 9 years ago....I'm not as fit...and there are days where I can't get up from bed.... :( ... I was hoping I will get better soon.... its NO FUN!....

 

 

Okay.. today its my turn to reveal my upcycle project for 
LESSology Challenge#27 : Packaging Central....
And for this month ..we want to see you utilise those packaging, as you know some brands the packaging is too pretty to waste... but some you need to doll up a little...

Just remember it can be any project you like to create... follow your heart and think out of the box....

I usually hoard these packaging... save for raining days!...

LESSology CHallenge #26

First - .. I want to share one happy news...

One of my layout has been picked for the Flickr Winner over @ ShopEvalicious blog ...this layout made it!!! Woohoo...pat on my back.. [i don't have much publicity these days!]

Okay.. today its my turn to reveal my upcycle project for  

LESSology Challenge#26 : Feel the bead....

And for this month we want to see you use some pretty beads on your project...Remember it can be any project you like to create... follow your heart and think out of the box....
Honestly - using beads is a real challenge for me... coz I have NONE....Luckily, I found some ....given by my mate Yvonne... I decided to create something for my long/hidden/kept photo frame.... Using Dear Lizzy packaging is the PERFECT size for my photo frame... and I love this photo of mine.... coz Minnie is with ME... one of my many childhood dreams... I just got to frame this eh...!
Don't stress too much.... sometimes these upcycle items can be easily found on your crafty desk!!..

Today I'm revealing the sneak -

LESSology Challenge #25 : For the love of Fabric....For this month we want you to dig up some fabric stash....it could be from an old skirt or dress that you no longer want them...cut few corners..stick it to your project!!! Walla done!!! {easy peazy}

For the cover of my mini album - I cut out 2 rectangles size 4.5x5.5 from my old pillow case and I've also used the 6x6 paperpad cardboards ...
so there you go 2 upcycled items that can be found on your crafty desk...
