Doll up Old Book... into a Mini Frame...

Happy Wednesday.... Ladies...
I've been busy... finishing up ... my 1st Altered Book Project which I turned to a Mini Frame... ideal for my Room Deco..[DH complimented...it's a good upcycled and its BEAUTIFUL...OOO...thats RARE coming from HIM]].... and of course made me pretty Happy!!... But ladies... this is hard work for ME!!!....Took me 2 days to finish!!!...

Alrighty... I'm playing along with ... LESSology's Challenge #1 - The Altered Book Challenge!!!..
To See more details and the rules... hop on HERE...

Upcycled/ Recycled included... **I supposed*... :wink... [fingers-crossed!] [[LOL]]
Hopefully this project qualified!!**

I used Matin's toddler books... its a hard cover 43/4" by 43/4"...
Cut out 4 pages insides... to create the window frame...

The side of the book
The inside of the book... which I covered with Cosmo Cricket PP
The Back of the book
Tadaaaa... it happened... ha ha ha...Do you like ladies...???

What I did... mostly ~ Distressed each corner... tape it up using 7Gypsies masking tape....Mod Podge... those pages togethers...and then covered them with Paislee Pink and Cosmo Papers... from my Pixie Dust Paperie August Picnic Basket kit...Add on Kaisercraft Pearls... Prima Flowers... and Webster Pages lace...

Don't forget to join me over at ARTastic September challenge.... and if it's your 1st time... please do mention ME... [I'll get some bonus points!]..hugss!!

I did this one before with more thicker books and loads of pages but when I glued them down it became wavy...the pages became wavy may be because it is not thick page and yours are kids book and thick page. At last I throw it away.

This altered art, I like totally gorgeous Sis'. Love it!
