Today it's a special day for me... I'm truly honored that Yvonne invited me to be her Guest Blogger... ... so I hope that you've had a chance to pop over to Yvonne's blog...

I've a challenge for you today and there is a PRIZE peeps...NOT one but TWO...everyone loves a prize...especially when you have 2 to be won!!!

As most of you would have known Yvonne... One of her best traits is ~ LESS is MORE... So my challenge for you today is to create a card, layout or any other form of altered art with a twist of Less is more and keep it minimal.... Easy peazy isn't it...

I had soo much fun creating this layout...I used a AC Weave Cardstock as the background, painted using a recycled plastic lid to created the background with some colors...then I used the abandon NUMBERS ..to create a 3D effect...fussing cutting...add some leftovers adhesive chipboards... and walla!!! I'm done.... Totally LESS is definitely MORE...

Today I'm sharing Echo Park Goodness ...I don't get much done over the weekend...just managed to whip a card and a tag ... I was invited by Maz over for a little get together...to celebrate her DH birthday....I didn't know what to get for him.... last minute I decided to bake a marble cake instead...and it comes with this card

Here is the simple TAG I made... I think this is my 1st Tag.... I quite like it though(took me less than an hour!!!)... Colored with my abandon COPICs.... not bad eh....

It's all about Matin...

Today post is all about my precious little MAN... Matin... He's having 2 weeks school hols... I'm sure you can imagine the amount of activities I need to prepare.... let's not go there... One of his activities... include SCRAPBOOKING.... We went to Spotlight and did a little shopping for him... He bought a kit and created 3 layouts all by himself.... I think he did so well!!! Well done son!!!.... And he said "Ladies I hope you'd like my layouts as much as you like mommy's and leave me sweet comments...." [[How cheeky he is!!!!]]

Echo Park Fresh Faces Designer Campaign

It's proven...One of my favourite scrapping manufacturers is Echo Park....I'm pretty much excited as Echo Park is having a monthly contest for a spot as a guest designer....Since I adore Echo Park so much....I thought I would give it a try... How it works is that Echo Park will accept applications every month and one person will be chosen each month to be their "fresh face" designer!  You can read all the details about entering here.

I have some Echo Park projects that I just did last night...

My 1st layout was created using the For the Record collection.

  I absolutely LOVE the strong colors like black & red...but mostly I love the grunge-y vintage-y look of this collection.... I decided to keep it simple to restore the grunge and vintage look of this collection...and it suit for Me photo on this layout too.. 

These are some of the PP I used for my 1st layout.

For Background - Newsprint

And I layered it with Table Cloth & Picket Fence

Add-on with Element Stickers

And some Cut out Noteworthy

For my 2nd layout.... I used the Playground Collection...

which perfect to show the side of my silliness and childishness ... you can tell from the PHOTOS.... I never grow up I supposed.....

 I've used Jump Rope for the background...

Layered with PP monkey bars, capture the flag ...

Add-on Alpha Stickers and Element Sticker Sheets....

I LOVE the Elements Sticker Sheets, it's just FUN to play with and I never get enough!!!

For 3rd and last layout... I used a mixed of  Little Boy and a bit of Playground Collection...I don't want to waste some of my stash....

My 3rd layout is about my precious lil Man... Matin....

For the background I used Road Map...

I layered it using a little bit scrap from Playground collection Simon Says..but mostly from little boy kit PP... Rad Plaid, Cool Stripe & Rock Star

Of course ...I mixed it with my all time fave... Element Stickers and Journal cut-out.... SO TDF!!! LOL...

These collections are so very beautiful!!! I love the mix of patterns and colors, like I would say -  to die for!!

Double Trouble.... woohooo

Hello Peeps... It's school HOLS... I need all the energy...Lil Matin is full of it... Never tired...Never stop.... He's really an ACTIVE lil Boy.... Don't get me wrong its good thing!!! But.... I'm just amaze where/how he does it... just never stop... !!! We had a good time together today.... these 2 weeks... I'm privilege to work from home most days.... BLISS to spend time with my precious man!!!...Okay... enough of my day....

Exploring....

I made this layout last night... What I'm trying to do now... is to use all my stash pp, left overs as much as I can... before buying again... Let's see how far I'd go.... So today I'm sharing a layout I did using October Afternoon PP...the only embellishment I used here is AC Thickers & Resin Flower...other than that, I just did lotsa fussy cutting.... A very simple and Clean LO....Of me and my 2nd Brother Ewan...(I'm the only girl and the youngest in the family!!)

On Sunday....

How's weekend ladies???? .... Me had a great one!!!!.... Yesterday was MY DAY...I spent 3 hours... in-the-kitchen ~ Hands-on Tute by my SIL, Razana... She's TopsTurvymum!!.... She taught me 3 types of yummy goodies... Marble cake, J-Lo & Japanese Bun...woohoo!!!.... It was a HUGE SUCCESS !!!(THANK YOU SO MUCH SISTA!!!)

 Mind you... I'm not a kitchen perse....to start with!!!... But...I'm getting there... hopefully!!!...What a shame...I only had 2 photos to share!!! (too excited!!..too yummy...!!)...And not really a good one though...but HECK.... !!!

Okay... back to the reason of my posting.... this is my ARTastic DT layout for July, using the gorgeous inspiration picture below as inspiration, the criteria ~ 1. use a photo of yourself 2. Shades of red or maroon and 3. Have a hat or glove on the page....

I tried to stay as close as the inspiring photo on my layout... I think I did!!!..You can see I used the lady conductor on the photo as the hat criteria....

Stop Teasing Me...

It's July already can you believe it....I thought we have 24 hours a day!!!... clearly NOT....

Since it's beginning of the month... I have a couple of DT projects to share... so let me start with Scrapbookers Anonymous... July challenge... The challenge is ~ What's your hard to use color??? Well it's easy isn't it... pull out your stash and start creating....Make the layout looks pretty using monochromatic colors as much as you can ...So don't wait... come along and play with US... join in the FUN... you have a month time ...plenty isn't it...

All items used are from Basic Grey(May myscrapbooknook kit)... I really like the background... I did using the idea of grid quilt style... tied the jute string around it...added BG buttons... and some prima flowers... and used the MS punches to enhance the whole look!!.... My monochromatic colors here is Purple, striking light green and orange...with a dash of pink!!! I like how it turned out!!! (me hardly like my work!!)
