I just love making cards now... if you ask me a year ago... I'd probably say...hmmmm... but now... I'm just crazy over them.... BUT what would I do with those CARDs... trust me I have plenty???... Yesterday before bed... as usual... my time to visit my lovely blogger mates...When I read about this little boy Sebastian on my friend The Sweetest - Amy Tsuruta's blog, I cried... it was hard for me to sleep after... tossing and turning...In my thought - whatever problems I am facing right now... its too trivial compares to what Sweet boy Sebastian has to face each day!!!...

Please STOP for a moment and read ......

Sebastian suffers from Arthrogryposis - he has stiff joints and abnormally developed muscles which makes even picking up a pencil a challenge. Yet he is happy despite the daily challenges he faces. His mother worries that he will soon notice the finger pointing and the judgement from strangers. That is one cruel and painful reality.

On February 15th, Sebastian will go into the hospital for another surgery. His sweet teacher is organizing a card drive for this boy to cheer him on. In her words, "Maybe, just maybe, when the day arrives that he notices the finger pointing and hears the name calling instead of being sad he'll remember the day that people from everywhere filled his hospital room with love."

Hows your Monday?...
Mine when pretty well... The usual...
[Today I'm sharing my routine-Monday to Friday!] Okay ..
Rush home to pick up Matin[after school care]... - prepare dinner for Matin and DH - make sure Matin had his shower and clean - then quickly hop on to my elliptical machine for 30 minutes... by the time I'm done - usually both Matin and DH are ready for dinner - once dinner finished - its time for Matin to do an hour revision - when his done - Usually I will allow Matin to have his "me" time before he goes to bed - whilst I go and have my shower - by the time I'm done - hes ready to bed - read him a book - [nah now he will read me a book] Yup he is 7 ..but he still insists me to accompany him ..until he fell asleep!!!...then I'm off to watch tally or to get crafty....

Hello.... Woohoo... It's Friday eh... [for me its almost Saturday!!]...

I did this simple and really quick!!... handmade frame of life...Upcycled/Recycled - using the cardboard from 8x8 OA[as the based] and the corrugated cardboard as the sides of the frame....items used are Crate Pepermint 6x6 PaperPad ..add-ons AC Thickers and chipboards....walla!!! It's really easy and quick!...

Sob Sob Sob... I sprained my lower back... it is severely painful... I'm not kidding....even laughing is painful!!!.... so can you imagine... *even posting this hurts!...* Ouch!!!... I took 2 painkillers... hopefully it will subside... *oh please get better!*

Hello.... Ladies... feel like ages...

Pretty much a productive day for me today.... I did 2 layouts!!! Big pat on my back!!!....

A little secret... ** I used to sing this to Matin...when he was a baby - till about 4..and if I sing this to him now... he will say "Mom... I'm not a baby anymore!!!"

Happy Monday Ladies!!!...

I wanna share another Happy News!! YAY...

Honestly I'm very excited to be the guest designer at LESSology!... It is such a great site for inspiration and great tips on upcycling items into beautiful projects. A little story from me...

When I first started scrapbooking and cardmarking, I never would have thought of diversifying my capabilities on craft!!!.. I thought that’s it!!! But boy!!! I did!!! Besides cardmarking and scrapbooking... I can do more now... I was like "whoa" to myself [he he he]...Not only that even now I started to recycle or upcycle things around me... and I am glad when Yvonne asked me to be the GDT @ LESSology Challenge #5 - Jars of Cuteness...as it gave me the chance to "show-off" a bit of my talent on altered art.

Truly I had so much fun creating this project!... The jar was actually a candy jar that Matin got from his bff last year Christmas...Willingly he said... "Mom you can use this for your altered jar project!!!"...He's Darling isn't he???.. So I decided to alter it into a Chrissie gift ...Matin would fill this up with M&M peanuts...and he is planning to give this to Rhys[his bff]...Thank you to the LESSology crew for inviting me to be part of their challenge, and I really hope to see you ladies "altered jars" ideas soon!...

Hello ladies... it's been ages since I last posted ... or since I last sat on my crafty corner....

To be honest... there are tons going on in my head!!![huge problems!!]... well... all I can say is... Hello...Ladies.... September is really a bad time for me...Am a bad blogger eh...I had too many social activities this September...neglected my crafty stuffy... But this morning... I decided enough is enough...[[LOL]] ...I so miss my corner....

I'm so intrigued... and I wouldn't want to miss the challenge from LESSOLOGY...

The Trinket Box Challenge....initially I wanted to recycle/upcycle my tiffany box...but I thought ...hang on a tick... I can make this from scratch using covers from "no-more-use booklet"...AND I DID it..YAY and pat on my back!!!...To play along...and see more details of this challenge...please scoot over to LESSOLOGY!!Trust me... FUN is all you get!!!

These are the steps.... used the covers on a booklet.... cut them up and converted into a tricket box...After I did all the dimensions right.... I painted all over using the closest colors for my PP that I have chosen....

After I dolled this up...

Mini Me.... Challenge...

Yes....This is what I'm excited for....

Today it's my turn...for the mini challenge... over at Scrapbookers Anonymous...

I'm a very simple... and lazy crafter!!!...So I tried to create this mini challenge as simple as possible...

My challenge for you today... is to use a Manila Shipping Tag[can be any tag too]

The Rule of the challenge:

- The Tag has to be visible on your project

- It's all up to you... it can be a layout, canvas, card, altered art, minis etc

** It's simple isn't it....No joke...[LOL] com'on play along with me... [You have until 7 October 10am EST]...of course... there's a prize.... The RANDOM lucky winner will walk away with a Paper Pad 6x6 from either MME or Basic Grey...I have yet to decide...

Okay here I'm sharing how I converted a Manila Shipping Tag [I bought from American Tag Altered Tag Set]

Original idea is from ALEX...{shes amazing}...

I used a white cardstock from Bazzill to create the pages inside... and I covered them with Kaisercraft PP..hand-stitched the middle to create the pages[book bind]

I bought the elastic red band from a local shop [cleggs]..improvise from my 1st attempt...

Look how tiny this mini is...

Overall I really like this!!!... And I received another compliment from Mr Hubby.... YAY....
